What's bad:

1. Not as freerunning as some of the more expensive reels
2. No line guard

This reel looks like a centrepin reel should; it's a nice solid feel in my hand and feels well made.The reel comes with a cloth bag for storage but there is no line guard included.

I've used this reel on the rivers Avon and Test and have had no problems trotting floats with it, the reel spins well enough and is very smooth.
I'll be honest it's not going to compare to the more expensive reels on the market, but it's a very nice centrepin reel for the money. If you shop around you should be able to pick one up for about £40 which to me is a bargain for those who wish to try out fishing with a centrepin for the first time.
